"Thinking outside the box... then tearing it up."

A long-time repeat client of Livery Magic, I was asked to create a design that abstractly resembles a Gundam model for a Subaru BR-Z. I had the idea of using shapes and icons and pointed edges that can be seen on a Gundam, then arranging them on the Subaru so that they're completely parallel, consistently rectangular, and using the car's bodyshape to help me position and cut each piece.

Deeply complex to plan, but actually surprisingly clean once wrapped thanks to a healthy amount of whitespace around the front and rear of the car. I also went to town on the little flourishes, like the little triangles around the main layout (also inspired by a detailed Gundam model).

It was also wrapped by another good business partner in California: Oniwraps knocked this one out of the park!
